Vistara JAL Team Up To Enhance Passenger Convenience

Vistara and Japan Airlines (JAL) may be out to show that two heads are better than one. On Monday, October 20 the two airlines agreed to team up and jointly pursue a common goal of enhancing passenger convenience.

Aside from this, the new partners aim to improve services while strengthening market presence in various regions spread far across the globe.

Statistics reveal that the need to fly between the two countries has been on the rise and that two factors, namely India's burgeoning economy and stronger ties between the two regions, have pushed this demand further up.

JAL conducts continuous flight services to and from Tokyo and Delhi. Using Indira Gandhi International airport T3, Vistara provides JAL passengers seamless air travel in more than 10 key Indian cities.

Representatives from JAL reveal that the partnership makes it possible for a JAL passenger to conveniently buy a plane ticket from either country even if the planned route would involve flying with both JAL and Vistara. JAL passengers can also enjoy the same luggage allowance applicable to international check-in and hand carry items on their flights within India via Vistara.

In the future, the new partnership may take on inter-airline improvements regarding access to airport lounges, among others.
