Jet Airways' JetPrivilege, India's leading frequent flyer system, has recently inked a partnership with Barista Lavazza in a venture to improve its members' lifestyle experience.
Under the new partnership, JetPrivilege members can now earn JPMiles each time they purchase Barista Lavazza products in India across Jet Airways' entire network effective March 19, 2012.
For every INR 100 spent at Barista Lavazza Cafes, excluding taxes, JetPrivilege members earn 5 JPMiles that they can accumulate for redemption at Jet Airways.
The Barista Lavazza chain of coffee bars was launched in India in February 2000, evoking the ambiance of Italian neighborhood espresso cafes. Providing comfortable places for coffee lovers to relax and unwind, Barista Lavazza holds the distinction of having been voted a 'Superbrand' for three years in the running.
Lavazza bought the Barista Coffee Company Ltd. in 2007, and after rebranding the corporation, all Barista Espresso and Barista Crème establishments across India were renamed Barista Lavazza and Barista Crème, respectively
Lavazza is a respected international coffee brand, and is considered the benchmark for Italian coffee. For over 100 years, it has spread the aroma of espresso across the world, and its products are highly popular for its unique taste brought about by using only the finest raw materials and top-of-the-line technology, coupled with the strength of experience.
At present, Barista Lavazza has more than 150 cafes all over India, as well as in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman and the UAE.
Jet Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, Sudheer Raghavan said the partnership with the premium brand is the carrier's strategy to provide better value for its JetPrivilege members above and beyond their expectations. The partnership is also aimed at creating a more exceptional experience for the airline's guests by providing more value-added services, thus creating a stronger relationship of trust and reliability among JetPrivilege members.
