Jet Airways Wins Lonely Planet Magazine Travel Award 2012

Jet Airways, India's largest and finest international airline, has recently been recognized as the "Best Airline"First-Class/Business (Indian)" of 2012 by the Prestigious Lonely Planet Magazine. Famous for its warm service and hospitality, which reflects the airline's high quality, systematized, and strict in-flight trainings, Jet Airways came out as the best among some of the world's best airlines.
On behalf of the company, Sonu Kripalani, the airline's Vice President for Passenger Sales, received the prestigious award at magnificent gathering in the city of Mumbai, which was attended by a number of well-known, highly-respected personalities from the travel and trade industry.
Sudheer Raghavan, Jet Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, said that they are very proud and honoured to receive such award by the Lonely Planet Magazine, which recognized their world renowned services. He added that the airline company is dedicated in providing genuinely world-class services to its passengers, and they are working continuously to improve the already excellent on ground and in-flight services. He pointed out that the award is proof of their commitment to provide better experience for their customers. He further emphasize that they will continue their effort to go beyond expectations and set service standards that other airlines should follow.
The award was based from thorough online and magazine poll, conducted by the Lonely Planet magazine, with the magazine's readers as the respondents. The poll seeks to recognize and acknowledge the best service providers and organizations.
