Diu Airport DIU

Diu Airport is a small domestically operating airport of Diu city, which itself is located in the union territory of Daman and Diu in Gujarat State. The airport caters to domestic flights to Mumbai and Porbander only. However, a passenger can also avail its nearby Ahmadabad International Airport.

Location

The airport is located at a distance of 5 km from Diu City Centre and is one of the few domestic airports of Gujarat state (Along airport and Zero Airport are also near Diu). It has a single domestic terminal, which has a peak hour passenger capacity of 25 people.

Recently, the airport got a new terminal, but its services have not yet started. The only airline, which is currently operating in Diu Airport is Jet Airways. The facilities that are available at the terminal are baggage trolleys, and wheel chairs for disabled passengers, medical and first aid rooms, tourist information counters, T.R. Stalls, PCO/STD/ISD, drinking water, restaurant, snack bars, and car rental services.

Since, Diu Airport is not at a far distance from the city, regular buses, taxis, and rickshaws are available outside the airport.
