Dhanbad Airport DBD

Dhanbad Airport is a small domestic airport located in Jharkhand. The management of this airport is handled by Airport Authority of India. Currently, Dhanbad airport is not operational, but another airport located in its vicinity is functional.

The airport is 5.6 km away from the railway station of the Dhanbad and is approximately 3.7 km away from the Dhanbad bus stand. The airport is accessible from the city very easily and travellers can also reach the airport through local buses or auto-rickshaws.

The runway length of the airport is 2830 ft, while the elevation of the airport is 847 ft. There is a single domestic terminal at the airport, and it does not host any commercial airline at present.
