Daparizo Airport DAE

Daparizo airport is located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. This airport currently does not have any commercial operating flights. However, in May 2010, there was a sanction given of Rupees 10.9 million for the construction of the airport.

Development Plans

There is an additional plan for the construction of the 7,500 feet runway. The plan was proposed in 2009, but its execution is expected to move on to 2012 because of the heavy rainfalls in this area. The Aviation Authority of India is currently in the process of acquiring more land, for which the Ministry of Environment and Forest needs to grant necessary permissions. Hence, the airport is in the very early stages of development.
