Jet Airways Executes Fog Preparedness Plan

Jet Airways, one of India's premiere international carriers, and its low cost brand JetKonnect, have come up with a plan that will help minimize the inconveniences that may be brought about by flight delays and cancellations due to the winter season.

In cases where delays and cancellations are expected, travelers are advised to call Jet Airways and JetKonnect through the following numbers�"3989-3333 and toll-free hotlines 1800-22-30-20 / 1800-22-55-22 to determine the status of their flights. Updates may also be obtained by texting 'Jet ' to 56388, or by tuning in to NDTV 24 x 7, the number one news channel in India.

Should flight disruptions actually occur, Jet Airways has this plan to send out additional aircrafts for relief. In the event of flight diversions, operations in alternate airports are allowed, in order to make sure that there will be smooth operations during this period.

Due to the aforementioned possibilities, a change in the schedule of flights was implemented, which began last December 15 up to January 15 next year. Regarding flight operations, Jet Airways ensured that all of its aircraft are equipped and maintained to pass both national and international standards for All Weather Operations (AWO), and its crew skilled and ready to perform through these conditions.

Jet Airways will also give regular update about the latest changes in flight schedules through the electronic media, so that all passengers will be made aware of the current situations. Facilities for travelers who have delayed or cancelled flights will also be set up.
