IndiGo launches Delhi to Bangkok Route

IndiGo have just launched a new route from Delhi to Bangkok, Thailand. This is the second international route the airline has announced.

The route to the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport will be serviced by 180-seat A320's.

There is tough competition on this route, with Thai Airways, Air India, Cathay Pacific, Thai AirAsia, Kingfisher, Jet Airways and Philippine Airlines all offering a minimum of a daily service, although Indigo and Thai Air Asia are the only low cost airlines.

The airline also plans on introducing Mumbai to Bangkok and Kolkata to Bangkok services in the future.

Indigo are expecting the passengers on this new Delhi to Bangkok route to generally be Indians going to Thailand for holidays.
