IndiGo has been enjoying market dominance in recent years as the country's largest airline by market share linking major points across India.

As if it is not enough, the airline is about to increase frequencies in some of its existing routes, while launching new service to emerging and established destinations.

Starting August 28, the airline commenced a daily direct service between Kochi and Kolkata via Bangalore, and launched a second daily service between Kochi and Hyderabad, also via Bangalore. A third daily frequency was also added to its Kochi-Bangalore route on the same date.

The busy Kolkata-Bangalore and Hyderabad-Bangalore routes were augmented as well with the introduction of 6th and 7th daily flight, respectively.

Last September 1, the low-cost airline launched a new non-stop daily service between Bangalore and the northern city of Chandigarh, as well as between Chandigarh and Srinagar. Also on the same day, added a second daily frequency to each of the two routes from Bangalore"to Goa and Trivandrum.

According to IndiGo's President and Executive Director, Aditya Ghosh, the airline is always holding promo fares to keep adding value to customer's money and travel experience. He added that the airline has been consistent with their objective to provide customers more flexibility and options with their travel needs. He boasted further that the carrier has been trying hard to keep up with their on-time schedule.

Last June, IndiGo introduced an innovative free service called 'Advance Pass', which enables customers to check in online and get their boarding pass via email, up to 48 hours prior to their departure.
