IndiGo Introduce Flights From Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Goa

Starting this September, IndiGo will add more flights to its growing network: between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and Goa while another two are Ahmendabad-Chandigarh and Goa-Chandigarh via Mumbai.

The additional services are said to be part of its continuing expansion to more key destinations in the country. It will also solidify its position as the country's fastest growing carrier, serving 33 destinations across India with 373 flights on any given day.

Corporate and leisure travelers to and from Mumbai will get the chance to enjoy IndiGo's renowned on-time performance as well as its top-notch in-flight service.

Aditya Ghosh, IndiGo's President acknowledged during the launch of the additional services, the growing sectors between Mumbai and the cities of Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. The two sectors have been attracting both business and leisure travelers in recent years which the airline is taking advantage of. So as not to burden their regular passengers, they continue to offer affordable tickets for the new routes. The airline has been the forerunner in providing its customers excellent ground and in-flight service.

Aside from the aforementioned additional air services, IndiGo is also planning to open a direct service between Bangalore and Chandigarh if the need arises in the future.

IndiGo captured an unprecedented market share of 27 percent in the month of July this year, making it the country's largest airline overtaking erstwhile leader, Jet Airways. This was a significant increase over five years since it started operation in 2006.
