Air India to Move Base to Delhi

Air India are planning to move their headquarters from their current location at Nariman Point, Mumbai, to Delhi.
The plan to shift the base is meant primarily to reduce the travel expenses of the employees moving to and from the city. The new headquarters will be stationed at the Parliament Street, on the Indian Airlines House.
When asked why not just have two headquarters at the same time, an anonymous senior official of the ministry said that having more than one headquarters won't be really necessary, especially since the bulk of work is in Delhi. Moreover, the Air India must always be in touch with the government more frequently than before. At present, the officials of Air India five days a week - four days in Mumbai and one in Delhi.
